Educational outreach
We believe the only way to improve the lives of cockatoos is through education. Our education efforts are focused in two areas; online and in person. We believe when a person sees a live animal, and is able to witness its intelligence first hand, they will have a far greater appreciation for the animal.
The Cockatoo Encounter is our main outreach program. The Cockatoo Encounter is the perfect educational outreach program for you next school assembly, library program, or fair. The Encounter teaches audiences about fascinating world of cockatoos, conservation, and responsible pet guardianship.
